Submit Your Work

Submissions can be made using the form below. Receipt of submissions is typically acknowledged within 48 hours. Please review the submission guidelines prior to submission to prevent delays in review or consideration.
Van Ness Press does not charge submission fees. Publication decisions are based solely on editorial merit. Production and publication terms are discussed individually upon acceptance.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions should be original, unpublished work that reflects thoughtful inquiry and careful attention to clarity and structure. Sources and references must be included to support the work. Files should be submitted in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. All submissions are reviewed for alignment with the editorial scope and standards of Van Ness Press.

Please note:

  • Submissions must be the author’s original work

  • Previously published material is not accepted
 
  • Citations must be included where applicable

  •  Submissions may be edited for clarity and formatting if accepted

  • Editorial decisions are final
